The RC085 is a third-generation digital tour guide system consisting of one or two transmitters paired with multiple receivers. It operates on the 470-510MHz UHF band using GFSK modulation. The system offers two working modes: F1 (single speaker, one-way) and F2 (dual speaker, two-way with main+vice setup). The LCD screen displays real-time status including volume, gain, signal strength, and battery level. When no signal is detected, receivers automatically enter power-saving wake-up mode—scanning every 3 seconds until a transmitter resumes broadcasting.
